Definitely this is good news! Your resurrection is guaranteed! No need to fear. You do not have to worry. Because Jesus’ resurrection signals the defeat of death. Therefore, you can live in victory. Jesus is the resurrection and the life. He is the only one who can bring about your resurrection. “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also make alive your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” ( Rm. 8: 9-11).
As a result, we are not as those without hope. We are brimming with hope and expectancy as we look forward to that day with joy. “So I pray that … that God who gives you hope will keep you happy and full of peace as you believe in him” (Rm. 15:13). Jesus became our substitute because of the joy and love he had for us. Therefore, because of his joy to bring many sons and daughters to glory, you should rejoice (Heb. 2:10). His joy is solely connected to the saving grace, kindness, goodness and mercy that God extends to us. He told his followers to rejoice that their names are written in heaven (Lk. 10:19-20). He is saying the same to all believers. One thing you must be certain of is that you have placed your faith in Jesus. The only requirement is faith. The rewards are too great to miss out. So rejoice and be glad.
