But it is definitely true!

Heaven is joyful. Joy comes from God. It is a supernatural gift. Jesus left his joy as a legacy to his followers. He said, “my joy I leave with you, so that your joy will be full” (Jn. 15:11). And “the joy of the Lord is your strength” (Neh. 8:10).

3 Notoriously Amazing Heaven’s Joy – What are the Three Heaven’s Joy?
Indeed the 3 Notoriously Amazing Heaven’s Joy are listed as follows:
- 1. The first time we read about heaven’s joy is at the creation. “When the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy? (Job 38:7-9). Here, sons of God is made in reference to angelic beings. God created them before humans. Therefore, they witnessed the creation of the world and they were ecstatic.
The prophet exclaimed, You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you” (Jer. 9:6). God has no rivals concerning his creation. Of a fact, throughout the Bible, the authors often praise his marvelous act of creation.
But remember, God had you in mind when he was creating the earth!
God created the heavens for himself, but the earth for people to inhabit. Listen, “the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited” (Isa. 45:18). And “Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool” (Isa. 66:1).
Then, before the foundation of the earth, he chose you to be holy and blameless in his sight in love (Eph. 1:4). You are always on his mind.
He wants a family. He wants you to be a member of his family. The invitation is open to you right now, if you have not already accepted it.
God’s magnificent creation which included light, day and night, earth, sea and sky; vegetation, animals and birds, the planets and his crowning masterpiece you and me.
- 2. the second instance for heaven’s joy is when Jesus was born in the earth. The angel descended from heaven with great rejoicing. As a matter of fact, the host of heaven was praising and celebrating the birth. “A multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, good will toward mankind” (Lk. 2:13-14). The angel said that it was cause for great joy to all people (Lk. 2:10).
Furthermore, the prophets of old had long prophesied about the coming of the Messiah. The Jewish people were in great anticipation for this long awaited anointed one. He would accomplish great things in the earth on behalf of mankind.
Here are some of the good works he was anointed to perform. His anointing allowed him to do them. He would be a light to the world; establish the kingdom of God by preaching the gospel; open the eyes of the blind; deliver the oppressed and set the captives free (Lk. 4:18); defeat the enemy and his works. And die to save humanity from their sins (1 Jn. 2:1-2; 1 Jn. 3:8).
Certainly, he would bring reconciliation between man and God. There would no longer be condemnation. No more hostility due to sin. Peace would be established with the Father (2 Cor. 5:18-20; Rm. 8:1) This was indeed good news of great joy. God was demonstrating his love to us by sending Jesus, his only begotten son to save us (Rm. 5:8).
The angel said, “I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people…” (Lk. 2:10). Jesus came to be the saviour of the world by his death and resurrection.
- 3. The third instance of heaven rejoicing is when people repent. To repent means to change your mind. You may ask, “Change my mind about what? The things you are thinking about God that does not line up with the teachings of the Bible.
Most definitely, Jesus came to establish God’s kingdom in the world. This means God’s rule beginning in the heart of people. This only happens when we repent and believe Jesus. And then moving outward to the entire world. As a result, God’s kingdom is expanded while the enemy’s kingdom is diminished.
Eternal life is the greatest gift to us. God has given us eternal life. And this life is in Jesus (1 Jn. 5:11). Heaven erupts in joy when we accept this free gift. This shows that the enemy’s kingdom is decimated and God’s kingdom is advanced. billygraham.org
The Parable of the Sower (Luke 8:4-15) is very instructive. In it Jesus informs us about the four kind of responses we will have to his words. Surely, we have a choice in how we will respond. In summation, we can either choose to believe the message of his free gift of salvation or reject it. If we reject it heaven remains quiet.
Heaven rejoices when even one person believes in Jesus and turns to God. This is especially significant. It shows just how much God loves and cares for us. Want 1 easy secret to become super you? Learn how
Why are they notorious?
These occasions are notorious because it’s the three recorded times of heaven rejoicing. These accounts are memorialized. So, whenever and wherever the Bible is read in the world they can easily be referenced.
These three joys are written down. So wherever the Bible goes they can be spoken about. They have the status of notoriety.
What’s so amazing, is that it’s all about you. God did it all for you.
Often times when we think about God, we envision a distant God. Far removed from our daily lives. Especially if we are experiencing difficult and trying circumstances.
Yet when we check out these reports, we discover a loving, caring Father. Intimately involved in taking care of our daily needs. Jesus said, “your heavenly Father knows all about your needs (Mat. 6:32).
In addition, he has taken care of our eternal destiny.
So we see nothing is missing. Neither is there anything lacking in his providing for our needs. “For my God shall supply all our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:19).
What an incredibly amazing , God and Father!
How to Participate
Here’s the “How to” list:
Faith and speaking are intricately linked. Your faith has a voice. You speak what you believe.
“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; (2 Cor. 4:13).
- 1. You participate by believing. Believing is now your lifestyle. And you are called a believer.
- 2. To believe in your heart means that confession will have to come from your mouth.
- 3. Confess means to talk about; Here’s the confession; I believe in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my savior and Lord. And I am saved based on the authority of your words in the Bible (Rm. 10:9).
- 4. Pray i.e. talk to your heavenly Father daily.
- 5. Read the Bible daily.
- 6. Confess the promises in the Bible daily.
- 7. Let your faith continue to grow. It grows as you base it on the promises of God. These are found in his words written in the Bible.
- 8. Share your faith with others, so that they too will believe. And as a result the partying will continue in heaven.
In the Bible it states, “though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls” (1 Pet. 1:8). The “him” that is referenced is Jesus.
Faith in Jesus is the one requirement to cause heaven to rejoice. That is belief in his life, sacrifice and resurrection.
Even the faith to believe is a gift from God. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast” (Eph. 2:8-10). All we have to do is activate faith by our confession.
Conclusion
