1 Gratifying Indescribably Now Gift shows the gift of love from the Father’s heart to you. For “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” Jn. 3:16) billygraham.org
I Gratifying Indescribably Now Gift states the fact that everyone loves gifts. There are special times we love to give gifts. Birthdays. Valentines. Mother’s Day. Father’s Day. Anniversaries. And Christmas. Now a days we are customizing gifts to give them that personal and intimate touch.
So what is it about gifts that we love?
Of course, we love the packaging. Beautiful bows, ribbons, trimmings and gift wrapping paper. But more than that we love the thought behind the gift. The thought and time that the giver invested to plan and deliver the gift.
Here’s good news for gift givers and gift lovers! You no longer have to wait for these special occasions!
You can have this indescribably gift all day. Everyday. With you. Forever. Isn’t this absolutely fantastic news! Who would refuse such a gift?
What’s more gift giving communicates something to the recipient. Particularly the type of gift given. And the level of care and attention in preparing it.
What do you imagine it communicates?
Certainly, that you are loved. You are special. You have been thought of fondly. You matter to some one. Unless it is given as a bribe and prepared as a chore. Therefore, with a wrong motive.
Indeed, It also tells you something about the giver. Especially the kind of gift that is given. Whether it is expensive or cheap. Prepared with great detail, thought and attention. Or with disinterest and as a chore.
Maybe the giver would be considered loving. Kind and generous. Possibly a benefactor. Altruistic. And all those would be good virtues about the giver.
But there’s one gift and one giver that surpasses all other! That’s what this post is about.
1 Gratifying Indescribably Now Gift will look at the gift and the giver. And show you how to receive the gift. Then you can “taste and see” the excellencies packaged in this precious gift for you.

1 Gratifying Indescribably Now Gift: What’s the Gift?
The book of John tells us that The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. That is, The Word (Jesus) became a human being and took up his abode on earth with us (Jn. 1:14).
Most assuredly, the gift is a person. That person is Jesus. Jesus is the perfect gift. He is the perfect reflection of the Father to us. For “the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rm. 6:23).
He is the perfect gift because the Father gave us everything of himself in his Son. He came from heaven to be one of us, he alone can uniquely minister to our needs. And our Father knows our needs even before we ask him. “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet he did not sin” (Heb. 4:15).
The gift stands in sharp contrast to the offence. It was the disobedience of our first parents that occasioned the necessity for the gift. So “there is no comparison between God’s gift and Adam’s failure. If humanity died as a result of Adam’s failure, it is certainly true that God’s kindness and the gift given through the kindness of one person. Jesus Christ has been showered on humanity” (Rm. 5:5).
So because of Jesus’ love and compassion for us, we are invited to “approach God’s throne of Grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Heb. 4:16). We are assured of welcome to our Father’s throne. We will not be turned away. Neither will be criticized or chastised.
Furthermore, it’s a gift because we could not work for it or earn it by our good works or performance. The preparation and delivery of the gift have nothing to do with us. Rather it has everything to do with the love, mercy and grace of our kind and benevolent Father.
We can only receive or reject the gift. It’s hard to imagine anyone refusing such an incredible gift. Yet we are given the freedom to choose. It’s not forced upon us. Nor are we coerced. We are given the evidence – all the loving words and actions of our Father to make an informed decision.
The gift is all about love. The love of Christ is all encompassing, transcending our ability to grasp it. The apostles’ prayer was for believers to take a hold of the vastness of Christ’s love for us. ” You may be able to comprehend the length and width and height and depth of the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge…” (Eph. 3:18-19). And we all want to be loved and appreciated.
Receive the love gift now. Do not delay.
Here are some of the ways that Jesus attends to our needs:
- Advocacy: He is our advocate before the Father. An advocate is a lawyer who acts on the behalf of others. When we cry out to him, he brings our case before the Father and ensures that we are heard and our needs met.
- High Priest: Jesus has a unique position as our high priest. He operates from both a human and divine perspective. Since he lived as a human being he understands our weaknesses and is compassionate to us. So in his high priestly role he brings the sacrifices we offer up to him to the Father.
- Intercessor: In his role as intercessor, “he ever lives to make intercession for us” to his Father. His role ensures that believers remain in right relationship with the Father.
1 Gratifying Indescribably Now Gift: A Look at the Giver?
Certainly, God the Father is the giver of the indescribably gift. Listen, “But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us…made us alive together with Christ and raised us up with him, and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:4-6).
He is love and the giver of love gifts. The “steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end’ they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lam. 3:22-23). And he rules the earth in loving kindness, justice and righteousness. Because he delights in these virtues (Jer. 9:24).
In fact, everything he gives is a gift. He is the greatest giver. He initiated the art of giving. “Every good and perfect gift is from above. The gifts descend from the Father of the heavenly lights. He remains constant and unchanging” (Jam. 1:17).
We could never earn anything from God. He is the benevolent one and we the beneficiaries. And no one can out give God. And what is most astounding, he gives us the very best – himself. For he is the triune God – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The Father gives the gift of his Son to the world (Jn. 3:16). And he gives the gift of Holy Spirit to believers – the body of Christ. To live in them forever and to guide them into all the truth (Jn. 14:17; 14:26).
Why is it Indescribably?
The book of Romans tells us the extreme measure – the sacrifice of his own Son, to which the giver was willing to go to package this one of a kind gift for you. Listen, “God did not spare his only son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” (Rm. 8:32). Surely he will give us all things for our well-being.
Certainly, this is the one gift that surpasses all other. The epitome of all gifts. Without comparison. So grand and majestic that words cannot describe. The Father “demonstrated his love for us in this: While we were still sinners Christ died for us” (Rm. 5:8).
He packaged this gift so beautifully for us. The Father looked down through the centuries and saw that we would transgress his perfect standards. And right there and then he prepared the perfect gift to remedy our offence. Christ was slain from before the foundation of the world as God’s gift to the world to restore the love relationship with himself (1 Pet. 1:19-20; Rev. 13:8). 1 RARE IRRESISTIBLE TREASURE TROVE – KNOW HOW TO?
From this 1 indescribably gift flows all the other derivative gifts. These include all the other gifts and blessings to enrich our lives and make us fruitful in ministry to others. Believers receive practical and spiritual gifts from Holy Spirit. And those who are not yet believers receive practical gifts such as skills and abilities to function in daily life and the society at large.
1 Gratifying Indescribably Now Gift: How Can I Receive it?
“…But to all who did receive him (Jesus), to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God (Jn. 1:12).
Surprisingly many people are not aware that this gift was prepared just for them. All you need to do is to hear the words of God in the Bible so that you can make an informed decision to receive the gift.
Always remember the gift is for you!
Here’s How To Receive the Gift.
- 1. Hear the Word: Read the Bible or listen to the words by audio or by a preacher. For faith comes by hearing the words of God.
- 2. Believe the Words: Salvation is a gift. It is not based on any good things that you have done or that you can do. It is entirely based on the substitutionary work of Jesus on our behalf. “It is by God’s grace through faith that you are saved and not on any good thing that you have done, it is the gift of God” (Eph. 2:8-9).
- 3. Confess: Once you are convinced that the gift is for you, you need to start confessing this truth to yourself and others. “For if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. It is with heart that people believe unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Rm. 8:10).
- 4. Receive Christ: Lord Jesus, I receive you as my Savior and Lord. By faith you are living in me by Holy Spirit. Now I am a child of God. A new creation in Christ Jesus.
- 5. Give Thanks: Thanksgiving express our gratitude to God for his indescribably gift. Give thanks daily. Never stop giving thanks. “In every circumstances give thanks, this is the will of God in Christ for you” (1 Thess. 5:18).
- 6. Community: We want to share the knowledge of this gift with believing people like ourselves. Also with others so that they too can believe and receive this indescribable gift.
Conclusion
1 Gratifying Indescribably Now Gift shows that while we all love gifts, there is one that is unsurpassable. It is the highest and greatest gift. It is a person. His name is Jesus.
This gift was lovingly packaged for us. Even before the foundation of the world. Therefore, everyone can receive the gift. No one is left out.
Then we looked at the giver. The all loving, kind and benevolent Father. He is the inventor of gifts. And he gives us his very best -himself in the person of Son and Holy Spirit. The Son is his gift to the world and the Holy Spirit, the gift to believers.
Even though the gift is all about love, we have the choice to receive or reject the gift. We are not coerced. We have the freedom to choose.
The list shows you How To receive the gift and the excellencies packaged within. Also how to share the gift with others so that they can receive their own love gift.
When we receive the gift, we join a community of believers. And we have the opportunity to live our best lives every day.
